Lata Iskandar waterfall is situated between Tapah and Tanah Rata, on the way to Cameron Highlands. It is located within the Hutan Lipur Lata Iskandar (Lata Iskandar Recreation Forest) and can accessible easily by car.

如果沿用打巴 （Ｔａｐａｈ）舊路前往金馬倫高原或是從那裡返回，很難不看到這座落在路旁的瀑布美景。這座美麗的瀑布就座落在伊斯甘達森林保護區裡，在這裡能完全體驗到大自然之美。

Not like other waterfalls, you don't need to walk into the forest or get a 4WD to go there. It's just at the side of the road. When you see a row of stalls on both side selling aborigines handicraft or harvest, slow you speed as you're about to reach the waterfall. And the TOILET, too.

前往金馬倫的路上有很多大大小小的瀑布，有些在森林裡，有些在路旁，從遠處看去就像是一匹白色的緞子飄逸在綠色的斜坡上。剛巧伊斯甘達瀑布就馬路旁，當你開車看到馬路兩旁有很多賣手工藝品或是土產的商店時，就可以準備放慢速度，因為你到了。

This is a great place to take a break for you yourself and your vehicle, especially for those who have driven all the way from Kuala Lumpur for hours, and for those who have been applying the breaks all the way down the hill of Cameron Highlands. As sometimes when you pass by the vehicles parked along the roadside, you can smell the tyre attrition smell. C'mon, take a break.

通常大家都會選擇來這個地方做短暫逗留。主要有幾個原因，首要的當然是這裡有迷人的景色，再來就是這裡有大家最需要的＂廁所＂。另外多數人選擇在這裡停一停是因為這裡可以讓經歷了九拐十八彎的緊張情緒得以鬆懈一下，也讓車子的煞車器能夠休息一下。 所以每當經過大卡車或巴士時，都能聞到陣陣的輪胎磨擦味。

Lata Iskandar is worth stopping by as this 25m waterfall is already amazing by just looking at it. You can just stand there doing nothing and let the refreshing breeze scours off your tiredness. Or, if you dare, sit under the waterfall and let the strong water hit every single muscle of you. That's the coolest way to ease your tense of the city life pressure. I'm telling you, this is something you MUST try, and you'll never forget how cool the feeling is.

Well, if you are coming with kids, there are some wading pools where they can soak or swim in the water. Seeing them shivering after coming out from the water is something that makes your day. Of course, give them a towel or a hug after you laugh out loud.

Lata Iskandar is a good place to have family day, too. You can picnic on the big rocks or you can have a great time with the kids in the water . Unfortunately, no BBQ platform around. I think it's good not to have one as it's better to keep the recreation forest environment clean and fresh. Get some fresh air instead of smoke : )

There are well built cement stairs to the right side of the fall that lead to the top of the cascade. The cemented path ends at the second cascade and it might be a bit slippery as there are only a few people who got up there. But once you got up, a small waterfall with private swimming pool awaits as a reward.

At the other side of the road is the stream that leads to Sungai Batang Padang (Batang Padang River) and finally goes into Sungai Perak (the Perak River).When you come across Cameron Highlands, don't forget to stop by this beautiful waterfall, Lata Iskandar.
