Langkawi Island Hopping 沙灘,海水,陽光,你想要的都有

When you're in Langkawi, one of the most recommended activities to do right here is to go island hopping.
來到南卡威, 如果沒有去玩它的水上活動 (我指的是去島嶼的), 就等於說你只走了一半的行程, 因為精彩的部分都在這裡.

Sun, Sand, Sea....and S....
You wouldn't wanna miss a thing.
陽光, 沙灘, 海水, 還有.....你絕對不想錯過的.

You can choose to go island hopping at 9:30am or 2:30pm. I prefer to take the morning session as the tour will take around 4 hours and it's just about time to get back for lunch and continue the land tour. On the other hand, if you got to charter a boat and extend your time, you will get to watch the sunset on boat and that will be surely very romantic.

The first island that you will reach is the Pulau Beras Basah (literally means Wet Rice Island). Of course, it has a legend too, but I rather link the "wet rice" to the little white shells on the shore that look like rice. This a good place for foot massage as the grainy sand will scrape away the dead skin on your heels.

Take off your shirt and show me what you got! As this is the ONLY place that you can enjoy sun bathing or soaking yourself in the cold & crystal clear water. Although there are three islands that's in the island hopping package but this is the ONLY island that one can really enjoy the beach.

Oh ya, there is NO TOILET here. So when the nature calls, you have no where to answer. Don't try it in the sea though they are all salty but the colour will not deceit.

After spending almost an hour on Pulau Beras Basah, the boat will continue sailing to Pulau Singar Besar (the Big Lion Island), not pulling in to the shore but stopping at the bay.

Feeding time~!! Not sharks, not piranha, but the star of Langkawi - the eagles.

The boatman will pour a pail of chicken skin into the sea. In a blink of eyes, you will see more than a dozen of eagles making a dashing appearance, gliding gracefully and SPLAaaaaASH~ the hunter got its prey! It's quite impressive if this is your first time to watch eagle feeding.

After the eagle show, the journey continues to the biggest island, also the main composition of Pulau Dayang Bunting Geoforest Park, the island itself. The island got its name "the Pregnant Maiden Island" from the shape of mountains that look like a pregnant maiden lying. Can you notice the head, chest and the BIG stomach?

What you can do on this island is to take a look at the biodiversity life of mangrove forest and take a walk in the beautiful rainforest. Just be careful of the monkeys, they grab and steal things! Other than that, it's just so nice.

Even better, there's a freshwater lake called Dayang Bunting Lake not very far from the dock. You don't swim here. You JUMP. That's the best part of having fun here. The lake is deep enough (30 feet or 10 m) for you to do any kind of pose. You will love the splash~!!

Ready to take a boat and get a ride.
Ready to get wet and get tanned.
Let's go island hopping~!!
